Guided walk to hear the stag bellowing (“berrea” in Spanish). We will stop in different natural viewpoints to take photographs and have the chance to hear the stags bellowing. We will also have the possibility to discover its flora and fauna, with particular emphasis on the red deer rut. During the months of October and November, we can also watch the fallow deer rut.

After the hot summer and the first autumn rains, something rises. The mating season starts. The red deer begins a constant battle in order to perpetuate the breed, in a meadow Mediterranean landscape where some endangered species like the Iberian lynx and the Iberian imperial eagle live.

You will be able to hear the fights and bellows breaking the silence at sunset. These fights are a sign of a perfect adaptation to the environment. Do you want to know why it occurs? Come with us and we will guide you through the best places to watch and take photographs of the berrea in the Sierra de Andújar. In addition, we will have a picnic to taste the local and organic products in the countryside at dusk.
